Nothing wrong with crayola at all :D I have just been spoiled by the neat effects you can get from the prisma colored pencils XD plus they have more variety of colors.  I cant use printer paper with markers lol it bleeds all over, so I just use sketch paper, it still bleeds a bit but its thick enough not to get crazy

yes! prisma is awesome! i just don't use colored pencils enough to bother getting a set of them. i never got into markers either, possibly because they seemed like the "kiddy" tools. but that was also long long ago before i knew about more professional markers. i stick with pencils mostly, sometimes watercolors, and i have played with acrylics before. felt pens bleed on printer paper too! it really sucks after working so hard to start inking and get a pen that bleeds all over.. ball point pens don't though :D

I only use the colored pencil to refine the marker and add really fine detail like on the hair :) I hate doing an entire picture with just colored pencil it's all grainy and makes me crazy so I like laying down marker first just cover the surface fully

Aw, i have a air brush, my parents got me one for my 16th..  they got me a can of compressed air and it just... didnt really work or last long at all.. ever since ive been debating getting one but have always wondered how loud they are XD <3

I got a can a few years back when I first got the copic attachment and it didnt last long enough to do a full picture. If you plan on doing air brushing it's way cheaper in the long run to just invest in the air compressor :D
